Devlog – Surprise Update! New Village Layout + Book Reading Begins

Hey everyone! 🧟‍♂️

This update wasn’t planned, but sometimes creativity strikes out of nowhere—and I couldn’t ignore it.

🎨 A Whole New Village Look!

I’ll be honest: the game was starting to feel a bit too plain and visually boring. So I decided to dive into something completely new for me—texturing 3D models in Blender!
It was a learning curve, but totally worth it.

• 🏘️ The village has been completely reworked with a brand-new layout

• 🎨 All textures are now handmade by me, giving it a unique and personal feel

• 🌄 Expect more visual updates moving forward now that I’ve got a better grip on 3D work

This change gives the world a much more alive and stylized vibe, and I hope it makes exploring the village more fun and immersive!

📚 Book Reading Mechanics (Wendy's Route Begins!)

The library system has officially started taking shape!

• 🕒 Interacting with the center table at the library will now trigger a screen flash and advance in-game time by 3 hours

• 📖 Once you've read, you'll be able to talk to Wendy Woods more openly—she finally warms up once you show her you actually read things

• 🧠 This mechanic is still simple for now, but it lays the groundwork for more interactions, reading content, and maybe some secrets…

Most of my time went into learning Blender and rebuilding the world, but the scene is still in progress. It’s coming, and I’m excited to bring her quiet nerdy charm to life soon.

I’m developing Tits and Zombies solo, so updates can be chaotic—but they’re always made with love. This one was all about making the game feel less empty, and I’m really happy with where it’s going.
